Andrew is founder and director at Aurum Engineering. He is a Chartered Engineer, registered on the National Engineering Register (NER), and a licensed Security Agent under the Western Australia Police Force. He has more than 10 years of expansive experience in engineering, design, management, and installation of detailed and bespoke projects in all sectors including rail, industrial, mining, retail, education, multi-residential, health and commercial.
Andrew’s key strengths include the ability to manage the design process from preliminary design to the delivery of large scale projects while providing clients with unparalleled results through persistence and attention to detail. Andrew also focuses on rational logic and functional analysis to propose and deliver value engineered solutions to every aspect of the project.
In addition to design experience, Andrew is at the forefront of leading, developing, and mentoring people and teams in the evolving digital realm, pushing boundaries and innovating using 3D resources and digital engineering.
Adam Fielding
Adam Fielding is a Director at Aurum Engineering with more than 18 years of experience spanning electrical design, project leadership, and electrical contracting across Western Australia’s commercial, education, health, defence, and major infrastructure sectors.
Adam is widely regarded for his ability to bridge the gap between design intent and construction reality. With a career built both in consulting and electrical contracting, he brings rare end-to-end knowledge of how projects are conceived, procured, delivered, commissioned, and operated. This perspective allows him to de-risk delivery, challenge inefficiencies, and create smarter pathways from concept through to completion.
He has held senior leadership roles on some of Western Australia’s most significant and technically demanding developments, including ECU City Campus, Home Fire, SKAO, and major works within the Perth Airport precinct.
Adam specialises in delivery strategy, buildability, and procurement innovation. He is known for developing practical commercial models that improve certainty, enhance collaboration, and unlock value for clients and project partners.
Carmen Arama
With over 15 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Carmen brings a wealth of technical knowledge and practical expertise to every project. She has a strong understanding of both European and Australian Codes and Standards, and a proven track record in delivering design and consultancy services across a wide range of building services.
Carmen’s portfolio includes a diverse range of sectors including residential, aged care, hotels, office buildings, retail, sports and leisure facilities, aviation, defence, and education. Carmen’s ability to manage the entire design process—from preliminary concept to project delivery—ensures streamlined outcomes tailored to client needs.

Dmitriy Koptev
Dmitriy is the BIM Lead at Aurum Engineering, bringing over 18 years of experience in Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital design, and engineering delivery. He specialises in leading multidisciplinary teams and enabling the successful delivery of complex, large-scale projects through innovation, precision, and automation.
Dmitriy has contributed to a number of landmark Western Australian developments, including the Metronet Yanchep Rail Extension, Metronet Thornlie–Cockburn Link, WA Museum Boola Bardip, and Optus Stadium. Across these projects, he has applied advanced technical expertise to develop forward-thinking digital solutions that enhance coordination, constructability, and project outcomes.
With a strong focus on BIM, computational design, and automation, Dmitriy develops Dynamo scripts, custom Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks add-ins, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions to streamline workflows, improve collaboration, and drive efficiency across project teams. He is passionate about solving complex challenges, supporting high-performing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest technical and quality standards.
Marco Ragudo
Marco Ragudo is an Electrical Design Engineer at Aurum Engineering, bringing strong technical expertise in electrical systems design and Building Information Modelling (BIM) to projects across a broad range of sectors.
Based in the Philippines, Marco contributes to the development of electrical designs from concept through to detailed documentation, working across power, lighting, and services design to deliver coordinated, constructable, and compliant outcomes. He applies sound engineering principles alongside his skills in Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks to produce precise, well-structured design deliverables that meet both technical and project requirements.
Marco’s strengths lie in his analytical approach, his attention to detail, and his ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and designers across time zones. He is committed to maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout the design process, ensuring project information is reliable and delivered to a high technical standard.
