The Dunsborough Hotel is a new hotel development located in the heart of Western Australia’s premier holiday destination, strategically positioned between the town centre and Geographe Bay. The hotel is designed as an independent lifestyle hotel that emphasises the relaxed, barefoot Australian style of luxury, deeply rooted in design, locality, and culture.
The hotel features 54 rooms, a wellness facility, gym, restaurant, bar, gallery, and conference space, offering a comprehensive range of amenities for guests to enjoy during their stay. The development aims to provide a unique and memorable experience that captures the essence of the laid-back coastal lifestyle.
Aurum Engineering has been engaged to provide electrical engineering services for the Dunsborough Hotel project, ensuring that the development meets the highest standards of functionality, safety, and sustainability.
Our scope of work includes:
• Finalising the Western Power application for the proposed 1MVA substation on site
• Designing and specifying the LV infrastructure from the Western Power 1MVA substation, including the Site Main Switchboard and distribution boards
• Electrical distribution from the customer point of connection throughout the development, inclusive of consumer mains, sub mains, and distribution boards
• Electrical services fit out, including general power, permanent connections, and electrical supplies as required by other trades
• General internal and external lighting
• Emergency and exit lighting
• Solar photovoltaic array and grid connections
• Electric Vehicle charging station provisions, with a load management system
• Lightning Protection Systems
• Power Consumption & Metering Systems as required by sustainability
• Containment and power reticulation
