The Paraburdoo MEM Office Upgrades project involves the electrical engineering, design, documentation, and consulting works associated with the upgrades of several buildings at the Paraburdoo Mine Site. The buildings included in the project are the LV Workshop, Training and PSI Room, LV Workshop, Crib Room, and the MEM Workshop Ground and First Floor Offices.
Aurum Engineering has been engaged by Grounded Group to work closely with the client (Rio Tinto), architect (CADDS), and the wider project team to deliver a well-coordinated solution.
Services provided include:
• New electrical services fit out including general power, isolators, outlets, etc.
• Single Line Diagrams and schematics for reticulation of power from existing points of supply and Distribution Board schematics for internal lighting and power circuits
• Power Consumption Metering Systems to Rio Tinto specifications
• New lighting fit out within the nominated buildings, including functional and feature lighting, as required, general internal lighting, and emergency and exit lighting
• Communications services fit out within the nominated buildings, inclusive of data outlets, WAPs, and other communications services, as required, with reuse of the existing communications racks and facilities to service the buildings
• Fire Detection and Emergency Warning services fit out within the buildings, inclusive of smoke and thermal detectors and emergency warning speakers, with reuse of the existing local Fire Panel to service the nominated buildings
• Fire detection and Occupancy Warning system
